Register Your Wedding With SEWP!

Congratulations on your engagement! We know this is a fun and busy time for you as you begin to gather the details for your rehearsal dinner, wedding, reception and everything in between. We want you to know that we are here to help!

SEWP is made up of some of Oklahoma’s top wedding vendors and we are here to answer any questions that you have. You can now register your event with SEWP, telling us which vendors you are interested in talking with and we will contact you and help you design your ultimate wedding!

If you are getting married (or know someone who is), please visit us online and register for more information from the vendors you want to hear from. We are not going to push you around with lots of extra sales information – just targeted information that you request!

While tickets will be available at the door, we suggest reserving them either online or pick them up before to ensure there is room. To make this an event that will really be helpful to you, we limit the number of people that can attend. Why? We feel that if you are going to go to a bridal show, you should be able to get everything you need to plan your event. This format gives you plenty of time with each vendor so that you can ask questions and get the details taken care of.

Otherwise, think of it as a great way to see the newest fashion and trends in the industry in a comfortable and stressless setting.

A Look at the 2008 Ultimate Bridal Event

So, you are still not sure about attending the 2009 Ultimate Bridal Event? We think this may help. We put together a slideshow to show you – in images – what happened last year and what to expect again this year. If you like what you see, this years show is slated to be even better.

Whether I am fortunate enough to share in the joy of your wedding day, provide you with the heirloom of a family portrait or photograph your corporate headshots, my approach to photography is the same. Photography should be a fun, natural experience, and I do my best to create this for you. I can only capture true joy in your expression if true joy exists in the moment.

I feel a huge responsibility in being a photographer and acknowledge this by striving to capture in a portrait something that is uniquely you, something that those who know you will recognize: a look, a smile or that certain sparkle in your eye.

I do not believe in limiting the number of shots or looks. I shoot until I feel we have what you want. I approach photography as a collaboration, and love to allow my clients to see our progress as we shoot. My goal is to ensure that everything that comes from my studio is a work of art, whether it is a wedding album, wall portrait or portfolio of images. I give my clients a lot of credit for this, for allowing me into their lives and having the trust necessary for us to achieve this goal together. Even if in some small way, I am always changed after every portrait session or wedding, and my hope is that my clients feel the same. I would like to think that when someone leaves my studio, they do so feeling better than when they entered whether they hire us as their photographers or not.

My photographic style has evolved over the years allowing me to become one of the leading photographers in this area. I have studied in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Dallas and Atlanta. My unique approach has led me to assignments in Rome, Paris, London, Africa, Mexico and New York. I have worked hard to put together a team of professionals that bring to our photography a new level of creativity, an original vision and artistic approach. Together, we strive to provide our clients with unsurpassed quality and originality, and an unmatched level of service that will exceed any expectations.

Ultimate Bridal Event | Postcards on the Way!

We just wanted to take a second to let you know that postcards for the Ultimate Bridal Event are now available!

There are several ways to get one. You can contact any of our Vendor Members or leave a comment on this blog post and we will get in touch with you.

We will be mailing out hundreds of them as well so if you have been going to other bridal shows and have talked to any of our vendors, you will probably get one.

Use the card to tell your friends or just put it on your refrigerator as a reminder. Remember, you do have to register for this one of a kind bridal show. It is filling up so you will want to do that as soon as you can!

Happy Valentines Day! Best wishes to all of you who became engaged! The Society of Edmond Wedding Professionals has a really sweet deal for Oklahoma’s brides!

The Ultimate Bridal Event is scheduled for Sunday, March 29th at 2:00 pm at Gaillardia Country Club. This cutting edge event offers something new and different every year. It’s definitely not just another bridal show! In 2009 you will be treated to a virtual outdoor wedding ceremony, vendor tradeshow, a design and décor gallery, appetizers and specialty beverages, wedding cake, a panel of brides to answer your questions and a runway fashion show!

With Amy McRee from Channel 9 as our Emcee for the event, you will be a special guest at a virtual wedding ceremony on the lawn by the Gazebo. Enjoy the romantic traditional ceremony featuring attire by while learning some creative touches wedding planners use to make your wedding more meaningful.

After the ceremony, you are invited into the ballroom to visit with our professional vendor members who offer products and services unsurpassed in this area. You will then enjoy first class reception fare and wedding cake while taking in the design and décor galleries provided to inspire you (be sure and bring your cameras!)

Next you will be invited to take a runway seat for an intimate session with newlywed and nearly wed brides, as well as, a mother of the bride and a professional wedding planner who all understand the issues you are dealing with. Your questions and comments will be addressed by the panel who will share their real life experiences and expertise with you to help you find solutions.

Following the brides’ panel you will be treated to a runway bridal fashion show featuring amazing wedding attire including wedding gowns, bridesmaids’ gowns, and tuxedos.

To end a perfect day many lucky brides will be awarded fabulous prizes they can use to make their wedding days really special!

The Ultimate Bridal Event + Fashion Show!

If you have been to one of the past Ultimate Bridal Events, you know how great the fashion show was. We are happy to say that this is going to be an even better one this year. This is a great time to catch a glimpse of hot new trends for brides (and grooms!) and get an idea for your wedding party.

The Ultimate Bridal Event runway fashion show will present glamorous fresh looks in wedding designs. D’Plazzo Couture Designs will feature one-of-a-kind luxurious wedding gowns that are feminine and sophisticated, as well as bridesmaid dresses that are chic and elegant.
